Running a Race Every Month in 2017

#GOAL to run a race each month of 2017.

I raced 70 miles, in 19 races (15 5k's, 2 5-milers, my first 10k and my first Half Marathon).

My first 10k was Finish at the 50,  July 2017 and it was super hot, just like you warned Anthony! We started and finished at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Fun fact:
My friend Jen and her husband (to my left) are HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fans, go figure, they still drove from Pittsburgh, PA to race in "Title Town" with me . They even brought their Steelers "Terrible Towels" *Eye Roll* to wave as they finished in the center of
Gillette Stadium LOL.

Volunteering & Spectating

I had the opportunity to do what I call "Runner Give Back". I volunteered and spectated races for the first time in 2017. Being a runner I truly learned to appreciate volunteers time and hard-work to make sure the race your running goes smooth. And spectators words of encouragement, high fives, beverages and sometimes sprinklers, always seem to come at the perfect time!

wondering what I did with all my race Tee's?

In one of the several conversations runners have while nervously awaiting the start of a race, a lady told me she made a throw of all her races t-shirts. In a effort to keep my wardrobe neat and organized, hearing about this sentimental way to enjoy my hard earned tee's was right up my alley. I can't sew so I started doing research and found  *Project Repat a company based in New England, Fall River, MA to be exact. I felt *Project Repat  and I were a match made in heaven since I love supporting local and regional companies.
